What is not a condition required by the government to label food “organic”?
- Aleena Jones
What are all the foods can be organic food?
The only organic food that you need to label is the organic food that you eat. And that is what you should choose to eat. Not any other food.
You may eat organic food out of the goodness of your heart, but not any other food. It isn’t the government’s business to tell you what you should eat. If you want to eat organic food, that is your choice.
Organic food doesn’t label itself on the package, it’s just a label on the box. The USDA (US Department of Agriculture) allows you to label food as organic if you have a license from the USDA. And that license can be obtained at any of the USDA’s nine regional offices.
But there are some exceptions to what the USDA allows. For example, you can label any food as organic and still have it labeled as “somewhat GMO.
You can also label an organic food as GMO if you have a license and a USDA license to do it. They differ in how far you can go. Once you have a USDA license, you can label any food GMO, and all GMO food will now be labeled organic. The USDA license is pretty much a requirement to label food GMOs.

However, when you have a USDA license, they will inspect your farm and certify that it meets all the standards. This ensures that all the GMO food on the farm is of the same GM variety as the rest of the food on the farm.
This will allow you to avoid the GMO food labeling issue by simply having a USDA license to label GMO food. For more on this, see my other article titled How. To. Get. A. USDA License.
To be honest, the government seems to know little about food. In fact, they seem to have no clue what they are doing, which is a good sign, because they can be a bit of a pain to work with. This is one of the reasons GMOs are still controversial.
The government is not aware at all of the GM contamination of crops. They are also not aware of how much GM crops have been grown in the last 50 years, which most people don’t realize.
The USDA is the government agency that oversees the USDA Food Safety and Inspection Service. Its responsibility is to assure that the USDA inspection procedures are up to standard.
This means that the government ensures that the entire food supply is safe and that any food that is on the market is safe. But, the government doesn’t spend any time checking the safety of food that is produced by GM companies.
